Toast both sides of the bread in a pan over low heat. Be careful it doesn't burn.
At the same time, preheat another pan to medium heat and cut the bottom part of the asparagus.
Once heated, add half the oil and spread.
Add the asparagus, salt and pepper and cook for 2 minutes. Cover and cook for 2 more minutes. If necessary, add some water.
In the same pan, heat the remaining oil, crack the egg and let cook for 3-4 minutes until the white sets.
Remove from heat and put on top of the toast. Add salt and pepper.
Serve the toast with eggs and sautéed asparagus on a plate.
