For this recipe you need cooked asparagus. You can also use canned asparagus.
Also, the indicated amount of Parmesan cheese is grated cheese.
Before starting with the dough, set aside 4 tablespoons of flour and 1 tablespoon of butter for the filling.
For the dough: Place the previously sifted flour in a bowl and add the butter at room temperature.
Mix with a fork until well combined. Add 4 tablespoons of ice water and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
Mix without kneading and line a baking pan of approximately 10 inches (23 cm) in diameter.
For the filling: In a pot over medium heat, melt a tablespoon of butter and mix with the flour.
Add the evaporated milk and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Cook over medium heat until thickened. Remove and cool before adding the previously beaten eggs.
Add the Parmesan cheese and the asparagus, which can be cut into pieces or placed whole and on top of the filling.
Pour the preparation into the baking pan, over the dough. Bake in a preheated oven at 356 °F (180 °C) for approximately 20 minutes or until the dough is browned.
Remove from the oven, wait for it to cool a little, remove from the baking pan and serve.
