Heat a pot with water over high heat. In the meantime, peel the potato, dice it and cut off the woody ends of the asparagus.
Add the potato and let boil for 8-10 minutes. Three minutes before finishing, add the asparagus. Remove, drain and set aside.
Hea a pan over medium-high heat. In the meantime, season the beef tenderloin with salt and pepper to taste. Optional: Add cumin.
Pour half the oil and cook each side of the beef for 3-4 minutes, depending on your taste.
Once ready, remove the beef and add the asparagus. Cook for some seconds, turn off and set aside.
Season the potatoes with the remaining oil. Add salt and pepper and oregano.
Serve hot.
