For this recipe you need cooked chickpeas.
Place a pot over medium heat. While heating, chop the garlic, onion and celery.
Once heated, add the oil, onion and garlic and a pinch of salt. Stir-fry for 5 minutes.
Add the chili pepper and stir for a few seconds.
Meanwhile, cut the beef into pieces, season with salt and pepper and add to the pot. Stir and cook for 8-10 minutes.
Add the celery, bay leaf and pasta. Cover with water and boil for 10-12 minutes or until done. Add more water if required.
Add the cooked chickpeas and boil for 5 more minutes. Add salt and remove from heat.
Serve the beef stew with pasta and chickpeas hot in a deep plate.
