Instructions
Place a pot filled with water and a little salt over high heat until boiling. Meanwhile, wash, peel and dice the potato.
Boil the potato for 10-12 minutes or until tender. Remove and drain.
Simultaneously, mince the garlic and chop the spinach leaves.
Heat half of the oil in a pan over medium heat and stir-fry the garlic and the spinach for 3 minutes or until the spinach has wilted.
Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and set aside.
Place the potato in a bowl, mash, add the milk and butter and season with salt and pepper. Optional: Add nutmeg.
Mix the mashed potato with the spinach and garlic. Chop the ham, add and mix well. Set aside.
Place the grill or a griddle pan over high heat. Meanwhile, season the beef with salt and pepper.
Once heated, add the remaining oil, add the beef and cook for 4 minutes per side over medium heat or until desired doneness.
