For this recipe you need cooked lentils.
Make a cross cut at the top of the tomato of about 1 finger deep.
Place the tomato in a pot filled with boiling water and let boil for 5 minutes. Next, remove, drain and blend. Set aside.
Separately, boil water with a little salt. Once boiling, add the pasta and cook according to the time indicated on the package. Remove and drain.
Place a pan over high heat. Meanwhile, dice the onion and chop the garlic.
Once heated, add the olive oil, spread and add the onion, garlic and a pinch of salt. Stir-fry for 5 minutes over medium heat.
Then add the blended tomato and the bay leaves. Let cook for 10 minutes.
Next, add some water if desired to reach the desired consistency.
Add the lentils and salt and pepper to taste. Optional: Add some garlic powder.
Serve hot on a plate.
