Instructions
Make a cross cut at the top of the tomato of only a finger deep.
Put the tomato and garlic in a pot with boiling water and let boil for 5 minutes. Next, remove, drain and blend.
Cut the beef into bites and add salt and pepper.
Heat a pan over medium heat. In the meantime, chop the onion and cut the bell pepper into pieces. You can use green, red or any bell pepper you have at home.
Once heated, pour half the oil, spread and add the beef. Seal all its sides for 5 minutes.
Remove the beef and pour the remaining oil in the same pan. Add the onion again with a pinch of salt and stir-fry for 5 minutes.
Add the bell pepper and cook for 2 more minutes. Pour the tomato sauce and add the beef again. Add the bay leaf.
Cover and let cook for 10 more minutes. Two minutes before finishing, add chili pepper to taste.
Season to taste and serve hot.
