Instructions
For this recipe you need cooked rice. You can replace the snow peas with green beans.
Heat water in a pot. In the meantime, peel and cut the carrot.
Once boiling, add the carrot and boil for 6 minutes. After the first 5 minutes, add the snow peas. Remove and drain well.
Heat a pan over medium-high heat. In the meantime, chop the onion and garlic.
Once heated, add the oil and onion with a pinch of salt. Stir-fry for 5 minutes over medium heat.
Slice the turkey and then add salt and pepper.
Once the onion is translucent, add the turkey and stir.
For the sauce: Squeeze the orange juice in a bowl and mix with the garlic, soy sauce and cornstarch. Add salt and pepper.
Optional: Add 1/2 spoon of vinegar and a pinch of stevia.
Once the turkey is browned, add the orange sauce. Stir well.
Once boiling, lower the heat, cover and cook for 10 more minutes while stirring from time to time. Two minutes before finishing, add the vegetables and mix well.
Remove from heat and serve hot with the rice. You can garnish with some chili pepper slices and/or cilantro or parsley leaves.
