Cut the bell pepper into medium or small pieces and chop the onion. You can use red, green and/or yellow bell pepper.
Heat half the oil in a pot or big pan. In the meantime, cut the beef into bites.
Once heated, add the beef and cook over medium heat while stirring until browned. This will take 4-5 minutes.
Then add the remaining oil, onion, bell pepper and a pinch of salt. Stir-fry for 8-10 minutes while stirring over medium heat.
Add salt and pepper to taste and, if you want, a pinch of soy sauce. If necessary, add some water to prevent from drying.
Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped scallion. Serve hot.
