For this recipe you need cooked rice and chickpeas.
Heat the oil in a pan. In the meantime, chop the onion and dice the tomato. You can use cherry tomatoes if desired.
Slice the chicken, salt and pepper, and add once heated. Cook each side for 4 minutes over medium heat and then remove.
Add the remaining oil to a pot and once heated, add the onion and tomato and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes over medium-high heat. Add turmeric, oregano and cumin. Mix.
Then add the chickpeas, chicken and cover with broth or water.
Cook for 15 minutes or until the chicken is tender. Salt to taste.
Top with chopped parsley.
Serve the chickpea stew with rice on a plate.
