Keep in mind that for this recipe you need to have time for the dough to rest.
First activate the yeast by placing 2 teaspoons of white sugar in a bowl with the dry yeast.
Add 1/4 of the warm water, slightly stir and let it activate. Set aside.
For the dough, in a bowl pour the remaining warm water, 1.5 ounces (40 gr) of butter, remaining white sugar, a pinch of salt, 2 ounces (50 gr) of flour and the egg. Mix.
Add the activated yeast and sift the remaining flour. Mix until you get a smooth dough.
Cover with a cloth and let stand for 20 minutes. Then knead again and let it rest for 30 more minutes.
Next, knead for 1 minute and let it rest until it doubles in size.
Flour the work surface and roll out the dough into a thin rectangle. Brush with melted butter, approximately 2 ounces (50 gr).
In a bowl, mix the cinnamon powder with the brown sugar and sprinkle over the whole dough surface.
Roll the dough tightly and then cut into 1-inch (3-cm) rolls. Flatten the ends.
Line the baking tray with greaseproof paper and place all the rolls apart.
Cover with plastic wrap and let stand until the ends rise.
Then bake in a preheated oven at 356 °F (180 °C) for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
For the glaze, mix the cream cheese with the milk, powdered sugar, 1.2 ounces (35 gr) of melted butter and vanilla extract.
Cover the rolls with the glaze and serve.
