For this recipe you need curry, but can also add turmeric or ginger.
Make a cross cut at the top of the tomato only a finger deep.
Put the tomato in a pot with boiling water and let boil for 5 minutes. Then, remove, drain and blend the tomato.
Heat a pan over high heat. In the meantime, dice the seitan.
Once the pan is heated, pour half the oil and the seitan. Lower the heat to medium and brown both sides for about 1-2 minutes each. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, pour the remaining oil and stir-fry the onion and garlic with a pinch of salt for 5-7 minutes over medium heat.
Once the onion is translucent, add the spices, stir and pour the blended tomato.
Let cook over medium-high heat until it reduces its volume and changes its colour to an intense red. Add the seitan and stir.
Heat both sides over medium heat. Once done, turn it off and serve.
