For this recipe you need cooked rice and lentils.
Heat half the oil in a pan. In the meantime, chop the onion and dice the tomato. You can use cherry tomatoes if desired.
Slice the beef, salt and pepper, and add once heated. Cook each side for 4 minutes over medium heat and then remove.
Add the remaining oil to a pot and once heated, add the onion and tomato and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes over medium-high. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix. Optional: Add a pinch of oregano.
Then add the lentils, beef and cover with broth or water.
Cook for 15 minutes or until the beef is tender. Salt to taste.
Serve the lentil stew with rice on a plate.
