Cook the rice. In a pot, add twice the amount of water per each of rice. Next, add the turmeric, half the garlic and a pinch of salt.
Once boiling, lower the heat. Cook for 17-20 minutes or until the liquid is fully absorbed and the rice is well cooked.
At the same time, heat a grill over medium heat. In the meantime, clean the fish and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Once heated, pour half the oil and add the fish.
Cook each side for 3-4 minutes over medium heat. Once cooked as desired, remove.
Then preheat a pan over medium heat with the remaining oil.
Chop the garlic, wash the spinach leaves and cut into pieces.
Add salt and pepper to taste and cook for some minutes until the spinach reduces its volume. Optional: Add a pinch of nutmeg.
Serve the yellow rice with the fish and stewed spinach on a plate.
