Instructions
Boil the pasta in water with a little salt according to the time indicated on the package. Once done, remove and drain.
While heating half of the oil in a pot over high heat, cut the beef into medium pieces and season with salt and pepper.
Once heated, add the meat and brown on all sides over medium heat for approximately 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
Separately, chop the onion and garlic. Set aside.
Add the rest of the oil in the same pot and add the onion and garlic. Stir-fry for 5 minutes.
Slice the mushrooms and add them together with the bay leaf. Cook for 5 minutes over medium-high heat.
Add the milk, nutmeg and salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 5-7 minutes until reduced.
Remove and blend with a hand blender or food processor so that the sauce is well blended.
Add back to the pot and cook together with the beef, previously seared. Cover and cook over low heat.
After a few minutes, remove from heat and serve the beef in mushroom sauce with the pasta.
