For this recipe you need cooked rice.
Place a pot over medium-high heat. While heating, cut the beef into strips and season with salt and pepper.
Once heated, add half of the oil and the beef.
Sear the beef until browned on all sides. This will take approximately 3-4 minutes.
Meanwhile, chop the onion and slice the mushrooms.

Stir-fry over medium heat for approximately 5-7 minutes.
