Add salt and pepper to the beef and cut into bites.
Heat half of the oil in a pot or pan over high heat.
Sear both sides of the beef until browned. This will take about 4-5 minutes. Set aside.
At the same time, make a cross cut at the top of the tomato of only a finger deep.
Put the tomato in a pot with boiling water and let boil for 5 minutes. Next, remove and drain.
Heat the remaining oil over medium heat in a pan.
Once heated, add the peanuts with the pieces of garlic. Optional: Add some red hot chili pepper. Brown for 5 minutes while stirring from time to time. Set aside.
Blend the tomato, cream, peanuts and browned garlic. You can add some tomato cooking water.
Blend until obtaining a sauce. Add some more liquid to obtain your desired texture.
Pour the sauce in the pan over medium heat for about 5 minutes until boiling.
Then add the beef.
Once the beef is tender, remove from heat and serve hot with the tomato and peanut sauce.
