For this recipe you need cooked chickpeas.
Cut the fish fillet into pieces and season to taste. Set aside.
Place a pot over medium heat. While heating, chop the onion with the cilantro and mince the garlic.
Once the pot is heated, pour the oil and stir-fry the onion, garlic, cumin, tomato sauce and a pinch of salt for 5 minutes over medium heat.
Optional: Add some ground chili pepper.
After 5 minutes, add the chickpeas and cilantro with a little water to prevent it from drying out.
After another 5 minutes, add the fish cut in pieces. Cover and cook for 5-7 more minutes or until the fish is cooked.
Remove and serve hot.
