Boil the pasta in salted water according to the indicated time on the package. Once ready, remove and drain.
Heat a pan over medium-high heat. In the meantime, cut the beef in pieces and add salt and pepper to it.
Once heated, add half the oil and the beef.
Sear the beef until all its sides are browned. This will take about 3-4 minutes. Remove.
Chop the onion and bell pepper and then slice the mushrooms.
On the same pan, add the remaining oil and stir-fry the onion and bell pepper with a pinch of salt over medium heat for about 5-6 minutes.
Then add the mushrooms and some water or broth to prevent from drying.
Add salt and pepper to taste, stir and let cook for 5 minutes to integrate the flavors. Optional: add some tomato sauce.
Serve the pasta on a plate and top with the beef and mushroom stew.
