Add the last layer of potatoes.
Separately, in a bowl, mix the egg, cream and milk. Whisk until blended.
Pour the mixture over the cake and spread across the pan.
Preheat the oven (or air fryer) to 356 °F (180 °C) and bake for 30-35 minutes.
Add the remaining cheese on top and return to the oven until melted.
Remove from the oven and serve.
