Then add the garlic with the ground beef and cook for 8 minutes while stirring from time to time.
Add the tomato sauce and continue cooking for 5 more minutes. If required, add more water.
Next, add the chopped basil leaves (set some aside for the garnish) and salt and pepper to taste.
Spread the remaining oil in a baking mold and place the potatoes with the sauce and repeat forming layers.
Add the shredded Parmesan cheese on top.
Heat in the preheated oven (or air fryer) for 5-7 minutes until the cheese melts.
Remove, garnish with some basil leaves and serve.
