Instructions
For this recipe you need cooked rice. You can use brown rice.
For the marinade, chop the ginger and mix with the soy sauce and garlic paste or powder.
Add 1 or 2 tablespoons of water and season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
We will use this marinade for both chicken and vegetables. Set aside the half for the chicken and the other half for the vegetables.
Peel the carrot and cut into strips. Cut off the ends of the green beans and cut the broccoli into florets.
Boil water in a pot and add a pinch of salt.
Once it reaches boiling point, add the green beans and carrots.
Cook for about 3 minutes and add the broccoli. They should be tender after another 3 minutes. Remove and drain.
At the same time, marinate the chicken for a few minutes while heating the grill over high heat with half the oil.
Once heated, add the chicken breast with the marinade and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side.
When flipping, sprinkle with sesame seeds. When done, remove.
In the same or another pan, add the remaining oil and cooked vegetables.
Add the remaining marinade after 1 minute and cook for a few minutes for flavor. Turn off.
Serve the sesame chicken with vegetables and rice on a plate.
Optional: You can add chopped scallion.
