Peel the shrimps, remove the black line at the back and wash. Add salt and pepper.
Cut the carrot into thin sticks and cut the broccoli into small florets.
Put the carrot in boiling water and let boil for 3 minutes. Next, add the broccoli and let cook for 3 more minutes. Remove, drain and set aside.
In the meantime, heat the oil in a pan and stir-fry the chopped garlic for 1 minute over medium heat. Add the shrimps and stir-fry for 3 minutes.
Dilute the cornstarch in some water and soy sauce. You can use dark or light soy sauce.
